Well I am back, several months later.  I am 8 weeks preggers.  Going on baby number two!!!  I am excited, nervous, scared, everything all bunched up together.  I figure I have one that turned out alright I supposed the next stands a chance!:)

I am at work, my computer at home has officially passed away.  So I will update this more later on.  Hoepfully with some new pics.

I've been a bad penpal...

hd

Not the best picture of us I must say:)

Well I am sitting at work at 8:00pm becuase there is an after hours pool party.  It is ridiculous.  It is not even warm outside-oh well.  I need all the hours I can get!!  Cody has an interview tomorrow with Preferred Family, it is for a night position being in charge of the mens ward.  I am assuming it means making sure kids are not getting out of bed or sneaking people in.  I am not sure how much it pays or what the hours will be like but it is something.  He starts back up with school at the end of September and is so ready.  I have never seen so much determination in him before.  I know he will do it this time.  But we need something in the mean time to make money to pay for bills.

I am teaching an adult acting class at our vo-tech school in october.  I am excited about it-it is not much but it is some money.  I am hoping it goes over well and people want to continue to have theatre classes.  We will see what the turn out will be like.

I went and saw my sister in VA this past weekend.  It was wonderful.  I was a little hesitant about leaving the baby but we stayed so busy I didn't have much time to feel guilty or sad for not being home.  I realized I needed the vacation.  We didn't sleep in or anything but it was relaxing just being away from my every day life.  I was ready to see my baby when I got home, I was afraid she wouldn't remember me and I swear she grew so much in just 4 days!!

The show is going well.  I am excited to start rehearsing with a set!!!

I am reading The Red Tent.  Very interesting book, speaks of women in the bible, what their lives would have been like.  I know the people mentioned follow the geneology of Jacob I believe.  So they are true people, how true their stories are, I am not so sure.  But it is very interesting.

I am boring-I am tired-and I am hungry.  I am ready to go home...But here are some photos in the meantime!

Well hello again....

There are so many sites out there for you to make a personalized page that I have a hard time keeping up with them all.  Really-it is the same stuff on each page-I use the same pics-the same profile-and I really have all the same friends on each site.  You would think that with it being so easy to talk to your friends that you would talk all the time but honestly I find it hard to keep up with all the messages and comments.  I think I was a better pen pal when it was just email.  Oh well-I am sure I will catch up sometime.

The outside pool is in full swing!  We have had 2 rescues already-pretty good since we have been open for a week.  I am working full time and I am not going to lie-I really enjoy it.  I loved being home with my daughter all the time but it is nice to get out and do something else that I really enjoy.  I am teaching a lifeguarding class this week at a surrounding town.  I am very thankful I fell into aquatics-it is something that I think is extremely important and something that I am very passionate about.

This is a random posting-but here are some updated pics:

Feeding the passion

I am up at the school right now for Bat Boy the musical.  I am the makeup designer and makeup crew for the run of the show.   I love this.  I am so excited to be back into it doing something.  I am glad that I have a theatre outlet for myself.  This is something that is mine.  I love my husband but am kind of glad we don't share this passion-this is my time doing something I feel so deeply for.  The show is going great!!  It is pretty much sold out for everynight.  I have really enjoyed working with my dad and a lot of the students that are in it are the students I started out with here at Truman and am really glad I have this last oppurtunity to work with them again.  Well back to the show I go!

Movie recommendation....

So last night, Cody and I were flipping through the channels and came across a movie channel and The Story of Helen Keller was on.  I have never actually seen the movie but am obviously familiar with the story.  It was just wonderful.  The story is beautiful and what a challenge for an actor.  Cody and I were glued to the screen which is funny because Cody doesn't like watching movies that are in black and white because they represent "old" to him.  But it was just so captivating.  I am not sure of the actual title but I recommend it for anyone who hasn't seen it.  I started crying through that movie because it would be so scary to live with no sight or sound but if that is all you've known then you don't know better and too I was crying because everyone wanted to just give up and her teacher saw all the potential in her and it makes you really appreciate those people who never give up on you.  Anyway-it is an amazing story and a great movie-if you are wanting a movie to watch:)
